BLACKOUT – World premiere on our stage in KH!

The time has finally come! After the final rehearsals for our German/Danish co-production BLACKOUT, the premiere is just around the corner!
Together with Annika B. Lewis from Copenhagen, we explore the various forms of blackouts and how we deal with current doomsday scenarios.
On 12 and 13 September, you can see the result on the pad stage at the Pariser Viertel neighbourhood centre in Bad Kreuznach.

Stage performance with Schmitt&Schulz and Kassandra Production (in engl. Sprache)

In our German/Danish co-production, we deal with the fear of total failure. Blackout is a kind of mindset trip in which we become sometimes failures, sometimes heroes and finally total refuseniks in the frenzy between utopia and dystopia, fear, despair, courage, hope, resignation, protest, self-sacrifice and megalomania.

Over the course of the evening, we will explore several technical, emotional and content-related blackouts and test them against various solution strategies and refusal tactics. How can we all overcome current and future crises? How much power do we have as individuals and how can we join forces? Are new utopias conceivable in the face of apocalyptic prospects for the future?
